Amidst the addiction and overdose crisis, SHIELD 2.0 equips behavioral health providers to catalyze change by deploying science-based tools that improve the interface between the two sectors.

Problem

Stress & Burnout: The behavioral health workforce faces high levels of stress, burnout, and attrition -- in part from friction with the public safety system.

Approach

SHIELD 2.0 equips the behavioral health workforce to reduce friction and improve the interface with public safety.

Improving Interactions: Our goal is to enhance the occupational wellness of the behavioral health workforce, while also improving public health and public safety.
